Enjoy two informative wildlife programs with this discounted self-drive combination program in The Crags. Learn about the Indigenous Wild Cats of South African and walk trunk in hand at The Elephant Sanctuary. Other discount vouchers and promotions cannot be used in conjunction with this promotion.
Program starts at Tenikwa with The Wild Cat Experience:
Join us on a 1 hour guided tour to learn about the indigenous wild cats of South Africa and a tour of our wildlife centre at Plettenberg Bay. See African Wild Cats Servals Caracals, Cheetahs, Lions and our Leopard, as well as other wildlife such as meerkats marabou storks and much, much more!

This is a unique opportunity to get close to some amazing creatures, and learn about their struggle to survive in the wild.

You will be taken into the habitats of the various cats, and where, for safety reasons, this is not possible, a walkway will give you opportunity to see and photograph the cats whilst your guide explains interesting information about the species and their role in promoting bio-diversity.

The program includes a visit to our Penguin Splash Pool where you have the opportunity to learn more about the marine conservation work that Tenikwa is involved with and a window into the Wildlife Rehabilitation work that we do.

Trunk and Hand @ Elephant Sanctuary.:

Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary. Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Walk trunk-in-hand with the elephants. See the stables where the elephants sleep at night. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them. On some hot or rainy days you may see the elephants swimming. Enjoy a drink and visit our curio shop. Remember to wear flat walking shoes, sun hats and bring your camera.
