2 Night Tenikwa Experience

Activity Description

Check in from 15h00 – 18h00.
Leisurely Dinner whilst you enjoy the night sounds of the wildlife and waterfowl of Tenikwa.
Retire for the evening at the Tenikwa Lodge furnished to 4 star standards.
With an early morning start, discover fascinating facts about fynbos and its cultural uses in the community during a short wild walk.
Along the way, the guides will prepare you for a chance to observe the cheetahs as your paths cross in the fynbos.
A bush breakfast completes this experience.
Enjoy a private leisurely tour of the centre to photograph and learn about the indigenous wild cats of South Africa.
Lunch with a South African Flair.
Spend time with the dedicated staff in our Rehabilitation Centre observing the work they do.
Join the guides as the conduct an enrichment program with the cats that call Tenikwa home.
A befiiting end to a busy day, sip Sundowners to the sound of the lions roaring close by.
Dine under the stars (weather permitting).
Retire for the evening.
Another early start with a refreshing forest walk followed by breakfast El Fresco style as the forest awakens.

WeatherAll weather program. Some part of the program is weather depended but alternative opportunities are available.
What to WearPlease dress comfortably with protection from the sun as you will be outdoors for the bulk of the day. All guests are required to wear long trousers which cover their ankles for this program. Long dresses or stockings are not an acceptable substitute for long trousers. Guests will be required to change into suitable attire before proceeding with the walk. Closed, sturdy walking shoes (takkies, sneakers, hiking boots are all suitable) are required to be worn on the walks and comfortable shoes are essential for the balance of the day. Only subscription sunglasses are allowed on the tour..
Things to BringPlease consider bringing a hat or cap along for sun protection because the sun can be quite hot during summer. A light windbreaker is also good to include as it can get quite chilly once the sun goes down.
Guests or SpectatorsGuests can wait and relax in the comfortable cafeteria.

Parts of this program are in a group , other parts are exclusive to the booked party, animal contact is not allowed on the program. Guests are allowed to take their own pictures, but no flash is allowed.
